Clinic for anesthesia and intensive care therapy
The intensive care therapy ward has 7 state-of-the-art beds for our highly qualified team of medical and nursing staff to care for seriously ill patients from any ward or unit around the clock. Here, latest methods of diagnosis, monitoring or observation are used for the various organic functions, therapy is provided, and failed organs or organ systems are replaced by artificial ones (with drugs and mechanically such as through ventilation, dialysis or similar).
In addition, our clinic has 6 intermediate care (IMC) beds to nurse patients who require more intensive monitoring or observation of their organic functions for some time because of serious concomitant diseases, because of their older age or major surgical (operative) interventions.
Medical priorities of our clinic include:
- General anesthesia
- Regional (block) anesthesia
